I’ve followed Victor Wooten‘s career for years, since he began working with the improbably banjo-based jazz fusion band,  Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. There are lots of incredible bass players. Some of them are highly schooled, some are specialists in one bass style and then there are the “naturals”. James Jameson was a natural.  So was Jaco Pastorius.  Victor is a natural.
